Hong Kong 25th Birthday Extravaganza

After one of the best dinners I have had in Taiwan, my friend Sam surprised
me with this cake. I loved the question mark. He thinks I worry about age too much. Hah!
Gina and I on the later flight to HONG KONG
after forgetting my passport.
Victorian Harbor was beautiful on this Valentine's night.
Putting my hand prints in the imprint of Jackie Chan!
Avenue of Stars. Similar to the Hollywood Stars in the USA.
Instead it is all famous Asians. I knew two, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.
Gina and I didn't get to go into the HK Museum of Art, but it looked incredible.
Couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's date!
We enjoyed the music performances, dragon dancing, & lanterns!
Bruce Lee protecting over the Victorian Harbor! ;-)
Hugging the One World One Love Bear!
I have been extremely blessed this year.
Since I was much younger I had invisioned what the HK skyline might look like in more than just pictures.
Getting to celebrate my 25th birthday in Hong Kong, I made another dream come true!

The corner we stayed near. Their subway system was close, shopping, food, anything you'd want.
Gina introducing me to a mango drink in HK.
Our hostel was a 9 person shared room,
our group occupying 4 beds.
1 bathroom and a lot of suitcases.
Our room was the Aquarius room,
fitting since I am an Aquarious
and it was my birthday weekend.
A close up of a couple of the famous sky scrapers in HK.
Waited in line for just over an hour to take the historical tram up to The Peak of Victorian Harbor.
Brittany, Kelly, Gina and I had a delicious dinner at Bubba Gumps on top of The Peak.
We were lucky enough to get window seats as well. :-)
Notice the 'LOVE' scrolling down the side of one of the sky scrapers for Valentine's Day.
Gina and Bruce Lee.
Superman & I.
Hong Kong seems to love superheroes just as much as Taiwan.
When we arrived at Lan Kwai Fong for the celebration of my birthday, we spent the first 30 minutes being mobbed by so many people wanting to take photos of us.  Gina snapped this one curing all of the chaos.
Met 6 other people who had the same birthday as me.
Everyone's story and background were so different and so fascinating.
The man on the left was hilarious.
Kelly and Brittany in their matching coats (accident), also being hounded by people to take photo
After never ending laughter, meeting so many different people,
we were ready to do what all girls just wanna do, Have some FUN!
The girls and I were halted our dance moves long enough to get this great photo. :-)
Billboards, people, billboards, buses and more billboards!
I've yet to be to New York, but I imagine it is similar to this.
Below are some picture from our stroll though the ladies market
BILLBOARDS and lined trams everywhere in the city!

Our last day we took a cable car ride to Ngong Ping 360 on Lantau Island.
Fun Fact that I learned, which I should have known, HK is comprised of many smaller islands,
one of the main reasons it 's been used as a large port city and it is such a worldly city.

I love you like XO.
Once at the top, Gina made a friend!
Posing with the Year of the Snake Guardian.
The famous Tian Tan Buddha. Made out of bronze.
Symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature, people and religion.

One of the great views while in the 360 crystal cable car.

It's the year of the horse! CNY recently ended so there were still many decorations still in place.

Some ships out in the harbor.

Hungry?
End with this beautiful photo of Ngong Ping's Tian Tan Buddha.
View of Taichung, my home! Wo ai Taiwan!
